First "rendered" design. it's for a weather squadron so I figured why not add a weather monster. they liked it but said no. also probably too many colors for a print shop.
cut down the colors make it more Hawaiian themed
Go with a Hawaiian dancer/warrior design vaguely inspired by the rock. The commander, she didn't care for the overtly masculine design though it was one of the most popular.
Female MMA gecko with some influence of the local mythical creature called a Mo'o. Look it up the mythology is actually really interesting.

Work wanted a squadron T-Shirt design for "The Fighting Geckos". this isn't even all the iterations Not gonna say I'm frustrated that they keep sending me back to make changes but hay at least it seems they are starting to get to roughly what they wanted. Even if it is highly derivative of their already existing mascot logo thing, striking basically the same pose, when they could go with literally anything. Nope not frustrated with that at all.
